A key objective of TISGRADE is to establish an effective feedback cycle between service providers and road operators, in line with the revision of the RTTI Delegated Regulation (EU/2022/670). By reporting discrepancies in RTTI data, service providers can support road operators in improving data quality and in doing so, together, enhance the reliability of information provided to road users. This work is led by WP5, in close cooperation with the other work packages and relevant stakeholders, as feedback directly contributes to stakeholder processes, quality control, and validation activities.

To support this collaboration, regular quarterly meetings have been established between road authorities and service providers. The format and supporting tools for collecting and sharing feedback are currently being further developed. Two rounds of meetings have already taken place, generating valuable insights to support further improvements.

Building on results from TN-ITS, METR, and NAPCORE, as well as existing tools from service providers, TISGRADE is now addressing the next generation of feedback processes. Particular attention is being paid to the distinction between feedback on static RTTI data ("cold feedback") and operational feedback on dynamic RTTI data ("hot feedback").

This activity also provides conceptual and operational blueprints for future Feedback Systems across Europe, addressing legal obligations to report RTTI discrepancies, as noted by the European Commission's Delegated Regulation 2022/670.
