Over the past few months, TISGRADE has been actively present at several mobility events. At the CEDR Work zone Safety Symposium in early February, we introduced our message Connecting Europe through smarter traffic data and showed how TISGRADE improves road safety by working on better quality road authority data on incidents, road works, and temporary traffic measures so road users can be warned in advance.

Mid-March, TISGRADE was prominently featured at Intertraffic Amsterdam, where we highlighted the strong links with ARAMIS (Dutch programme that focuses on the implementation of digital traffic management), NAPCORE, and the RTTI Taskforce. And foremost, we had fruitful discussions with project and network partners HERE, Be-Mobile, TomTom, Google, TripService and CEDR, POLIS, ERTICO and TISA, which reinforced the importance of European collaboration for better traffic information services.

A week later, TISGRADE joined the TISA Committee Meeting in Madrid, where public and private partners from Europe and the US discussed data quality validation, including the use of the TISA 5-star rating specification, location referencing, and Functional Road Classes. TISGRADE presentations focused on the project’s overall approach and the public-private feedback loop on data quality.

At TRA 2026 mid-May, TISGRADE had the possibility to demonstrate how to bridge the gap between data availability and operational value, helping road operators move from reacting to traffic events to anticipating them. Visitors could explore these concepts through the interactive TISGRADE wall at our project partner Magyar Közút’s booth, where András Selmeczy and Aletta Büki were available to answer questions and discuss the project's ambitions.

By sharing knowledge, experiences, and best practices, TISGRADE continues to contribute to better traffic data, smarter journeys, and stronger European connections.
